Summer SAVY Session 2, Day 5 – Common and Practical Chemistry (Crooke)
Day 5: Today was our final day of SAVY, and we had lots of fun. We started the day by testing the bath bombs we made yesterday. Some were a success, and some were not as successful, but we learned from both! This was followed by exposing our blueprint T-shirts to the sun. As today was a warm day, we decided to investigate how different substances affect the freezing point of water. We then applied that knowledge to make ice cream. Finally, we finished our day by producing the perfect slime using all the techniques we learned throughout the week.
