Summer SAVY 2023 Session 1, Day 4 – Agricultural Engineering
Day 4: The SAVY students had a blast creating and acting out their agricultural-themed plays with the volcanic and savannah habitats. There were even special effects! And lots of giggles 🙂
We were able to complete the science experiment testing multiple materials and textures to find out what works best for hand pollinators. The students have almost completed their hand pollinator designs and we will begin testing with the pollen (ground pepper) tomorrow morning.
Some dinner table discussions:
- Describe textures using adjectives and which materials worked best in the science experiment.
- Explain what you expect your hand pollinator will do during testing tomorrow.
- What has been the best part of the week in SAVY class and what is your favorite part about agricultural engineering?
