Spring SAVY 2019, Day 6 – Autobiographies and the Story of You (3rd/4th)

It’s hard to believe that Spring SAVY is finished for 2019!
Ms. Adrienne and I have enjoyed working with your kiddos and learning about their lives through their memoirs.
Going forward, our hope is that your student will continue to analyze the different changes they see, both in their personal lives and in the world as a whole.
These past six Saturdays, we’ve experienced the following:
Change is necessary for growth: The kiddos have reflected on their past experiences and how they have affected who they are today.
Change leads to more change: As students reflected on their past experiences, they looked at how they led to even more changes in their lives.
Change can be both positive and/or negative: Our past experiences, both good and bad, mold us into who we are each day.
Change can be natural or constructed: Even when we’re thinking about what we read and what we learn, we our brains go through natural changes, and we grow and change our views on life.
I hope that your students enjoyed the class and interactions as much as we did. Have a wonderful rest of the school year!
Ms. Patti
