SAVY 2019: Session 6, Day 5 – The Great Debate (Rising 3rd/4th)
This week flew by! I was so lucky to have these 15 amazing children to work with this week! Today we some dub all we had learned yesterday about whether or not the government is responsible for the welfare of the individuals. Students worked in groups to create a concept map. Then, with their same group, they traveled to all the other concepts maps and gave feedback for two things that they wanted to praise the group for and one thing that they thought the group should try to improve. I loved all the thoughtful responses and feedback that the students gave to one another. The groups then used the feedback they had received to revise parts of their concept map. Each group then shared the revisions they had made with the rest of the class. Thank you for sharing your children with me this week! I had a fantastic time getting to know them! I was so proud of the work that we did all week!
