Summer SAVY 2019: Session 1, Day 5 – Chemical Spill (Rising 3rd/4th)

Hello Parents!

We had a great last day together discussing the value of the environment and ecological services. We also completed our final concept maps filled with all of information that we covered this week from atoms to the Exxon Valdez oil spill. As you probably already know, we also spent some time making and playing with slime.

It was so nice to meet all of the parents this afternoon; your children spoke so highly of all of you throughout the week.  It was a pleasure spending the week with your children because of their curious minds, big personalities, and incredible intelligence.  This was a really special group to work with and I hope that I can see everyone again at SAVY in the future!
