The ancient Greeks assigned a deity for almost every aspect of their lives. Today, we looked at the twelve primary gods of the Greek pantheon and put our research skills to work by looking up further information on them.

Tomorrow, we will apply this research towards group presentations to help us understand why mythology mattered so much to the Greeks and why it matters to us today.

It can be challenging for young students to connect what they’re learning to larger concepts, such as that subject’s significance. Try helping your child out by encouraging them to articulate why their interests matter to them and help them find the words to explain their interests to others.
