Summer SAVY 2016 (Session 3, Day 4) – Linguistics in Your Life

This week has flown by so quickly! Today we learned about morphology, which is how words are modified. We read about different kinds of morphemes and how they go together. After lunch we brainstormed morphemes in American English and then played a game in which students created new words and added to the over the course of multiple rounds to see how long our words could be.
