Thank you so much for attending our Open House today in the Wyatt computer Lab! It was such a joy to see parents and children, with a few grandparents as well, enjoying collaborations with coding.

Please continue to model asking the hard questions with your child.  The questions that have no immediate or obvious answers.  The questions that require research and reasoning.  The “should we” questions. Code.org and Sphero.edu are great online resources to continue adventures in coding.  I also highly recommend the two texts by Peter Brown, The Wild Robot and The Wild Robot Escapes.  You and your child will have many questions to discuss with these delightful reads.

Both Maya Hardrick, our skillful and oh so faithful teaching assistant, and myself thank you for sharing your child with us this week.  We hope to see you and your child in another SAVY classroom one day soon!
