Vanderbilt Summer Academy Staff Opportunities

Join the Vanderbilt Summer Academy Team!

Housed within Programs for Talented Youth (PTY), a unit within Peabody College, Vanderbilt Summer Academy (VSA) hosts around 900 academically advanced middle and high school students through residential summer programs. VSA students join us from around the world to immerse themselves in academically accelerated coursework and a full pre-college residential experience.

From supporting these students in advanced courses to planning community-building evening activities to streamlining logistics and operations, VSA offers undergraduate students, graduate students and professionals the opportunity to join a dedicated and mission-driven team. While facilitating wonderful experiences for VSA students, VSA staff have the opportunity to develop their leadership and mentorship skills, practice community building, learn administration and communication strategies, and flex their creativity in event planning.
