Fall 2017/Spring 2018 SAVY Application


Vanderbilt University recently upgraded the online application system for many student programs across campus. You will access the application through the link at the bottom of this page, which will redirect you to the student portal.

If your child applied for our Summer 2017 programs, you already have an account in the new system. You may enter your child’s username and password. Please note that if you had multiple children attend Summer 2017, each child has a distinct username and password. Please do not create a new account if you already have an existing one.

If your child not apply for our Summer 2017 programs, you do not have an account in the new system. You will need to create a new student account, even if your child has participated in our programs prior to Summer 2017. When you create your new account, be sure to indicate that your student is under the age of 18 when prompted. You do not need to re-upload test scores if we already have your scores on file. The system will look different from when you applied in the past, but the process remains the same.

Should I enter the same user ID and password I created in other past sessions? If your child applied for Summer 2017, you should enter the same username and password that you created at the time you submitted the Summer 2017 application. If you did not apply for Summer 2017 you will need to create a new username and password because this is a new system and your username and password prior to January 2017 did not carry over to the new system. If you have multiple children, you will need to create a unique new username and password for each student. 

Do I need to resubmit eligibility documents/scores if I have applied before? No. If you have submitted eligibility documents/scores with with us before, you will not need to resubmit them. We will get in touch with you if anything pertinent appears to be missing. 

Do I owe any money at this time? Yes. At the time of application, all Fall and/or Spring SAVY applicants will submit a $35 nonrefundable application fee. You can apply for fall only, spring only, or both fall and spring SAVY with the $35 fee. When you check out from your “cart” in the online system, you will have the option to pay the application fee with a credit card or select another method. You will not pay tuition until notified that your child is placed in a ranked course. Tuition for fall is due Friday, September 1, 2017. Tuition for spring is due Friday, December 8, 2017

When will we hear about admission? You will hear from us within four weeks from the time you apply to fall and within six weeks from the time you apply for spring. If we have questions about your application or if anything is missing, we’ll contact you.
