Summer SAVY 2018: Session 5, Day 5 – Intro to Programming (Rising 2nd)
Dear SAVY Parents,
Thank you so much for coming to this morning’s Open House! It was a joy to see parents and children enjoying collaborations with coding!
We strongly encourage you to continue asking your child the tough questions. The questions that have no immediate or obvious answers. The questions that require external research and reasoning. The “should” questions!
If your child wishes to continue their coding endeavors, code.org and sphero.edu are great online resources. Peter Brown’s The Wild Robot and The Wild Robot Escapes are both wonderful texts that you and your child can enjoy and discuss.
Another wonderful SAVY session has come to an end. Your child has done some extraordinary work in this course, and we hope that they are as proud of their efforts as we are! We hope to see you and your child in another SAVY classroom one day soon!
