VSA Session II – Wunderkind (an etymology poem)

Posted by on Monday, June 24, 2013 in VSA Blog.

One of our VSA students in “The Lyric” has volunteered to share some original poetry. Enjoy!

Wunderkind (an etymology poem)

Of German origin,
waiting to inspire
with age so surprising.

Wonder child, listen to
banter of the common;
you are not as they are.

Reaching ever higher,
not wishing it would change,
but using elbow grease.

Inspire them, wonder child,
strike them dumb with your ease.
Oh wonder child, help me see

through the minds of the free.
