Rosanna Forrest

Rosanna Forrest is the assistant director of residential programs for PTY, overseeing the academic and residential life of both VSA and WAVU student programs. With an M.F.A. in creative writing from the University of New Hampshire, Rosie’s background draws upon both education and the arts. She has taught academic and creative writing for Vanderbilt University, UNH, DePaul University, and Northwestern, and her short fiction is featured in multiple online and print publications. Before her move to Nashville, Rosie was the 2013 writer-in-residence for Interlochen Arts Academy in northern Michigan and served as summer director of creative writing for Interlochen Arts Camp. In addition to her work with PTY, Rosie’s interests include theatre arts, young adult literature, and the pedagogy of creative writing.
