Eric Fecht serves as an education consultant with Vanderbilt Programs for Talented Youth. He received a B.A. in History and Secondary Education from Western Washington University, a M.A. from Johns Hopkins University, and an EdD in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California. Eric started his career in education as a classroom teacher in Baltimore City Public Schools as a member of Teach for America. Most recently, Eric spent four years working with the Abu Dhabi Education Council where he helped implement a gifted and talented pilot program that was developed and supported by faculty at Vanderbilt’s Peabody College of Education. While he actively supports gifted programs at PTY and contributes to research and curriculum development, Eric works primarily with teachers and students who participate in the Reading Academy at Vanderbilt.
