Jay Watson

Jay Watson is the academic coordinator for Vanderbilt Summer Academy and Weekend Academy at Vanderbilt University. He has been a member of the PTY team since 2006. Jay received his bachelor’s degree in art history and visual arts from Columbia University. After college, Jay began an affiliation with Duke University’s Talent Identification Program, where he began as a residential counselor and then became an instructor, developing courses in architecture and even teaching a popular weekend course on the intersection of baseball and American culture. Jay is married to Candi Henry, an attorney at Dodson Parker Behm & Capparella PC. Jay and Candi are the proud parents of two boys, Jamie and Eliot.
