March 15 & 16 Professional Development Workshop to Focus on Differentiation
Gifted students often spend most of the school day in general education classrooms. For teachers, bright students who are already proficient with grade level standards can present potential problems and distractions. Learning usable differentiation techniques to keep these inquisitive minds engaged can turn a potential pitfall into a true reward.
This two-day workshop will focus on differentiation techniques in general as well as how to best employ the techniques with special populations of gifted students, such as the socioeconomically disadvantaged or those identifying from diverse cultural, racial, and/or ethnic backgrounds.
